If you are at the turning point in your life i.e you wish you could just start on a clean slate then in time of need words of encouragement can help you say forward ever, backward never.

There are a variety of reasons why you would need a fresh start. Let me list a few, which you most probably can identify with.

1.    The loss of a loved one: There are many ways in which you can lost a loved one. For instance, death can come between two people who love each other. A friend of mine lost his fiancée in December 2007 and up until now her pictures still take up most of the space in his phone. I have seen him cry a few time especially when something reminds him of her.

It is possible that you also feel the same way. If it is so then do not let yourself think that you are burying her or him in the past or simply forgetting about him or her. It simply means you are trying to keep the memories and let them inspire you to live the rest of your life.

2.    New job: cards of encouragement are a must have for someone in a new office. Let me briefly share my own experience about my first day at work. The one thing I remember about it is how nervous I was. Getting used to a new place is not easy but it is possible. Allow a few days to get used to the place before you give up on it. In no time you will be back to your usual self and your colleagues will be pleased with who you really are.

3.    New Area: if you have just moved into a new city I can only imagine how lonely you feel. The best way to get over being home sick or lonely is to try and find good things to excite you and laugh about. You can go to the movies or simply look for daily words of encouragement over the net. This way you will start to experience the best part of being in a new area and you will relax and enjoy the fresh start.
